You are also a very good friend. People should know that even though you love to make and send greeting cards, you love to receive notes and cards.

It depends where I am traveling and how much I need to take with me. On a recent Hawaiian vacation, I had our snorkel and scuba gear to pack. It took up space, was heavy and sandy. A large box was sent FEDEX to the condo in advance and was sent back home via UPS. When my son was younger and I had quite a bit of baby gear to travel with, I'd send it all in advance. Do be careful about shipping items you'll need immediately or are valuable.

How often do you ship via UPS or FedEx? Is it only the extra luggage that would cost you at the airport or do you ship it all?

A surplus .30 caliber ammunition can is just a little wider than a roll of pennies. I store my rolled pennies in an old surplus .30 caliber ammunition can. When the can fills up, I take my pennies to the bank.

Excellent points. This helps clarify the benefits and value of an experienced professional.
Full time versus hiring someone who is just trying to earn a few extra dollars also is
reflected in a higher rate.

Just happened to come across your site after researching info for my own site. This post spoke to me because I am so at a point in my life where I refuse to allow the Christmas season to place undue stress on me. It's a choice one has to make to not get caught up in all of the hype but to keep it simple and meaningful. So thanks for expressing what, not only myself, but so many others are feeling as well.

I love it when clients have a sense of humor about their things. Having the support of a professional organizer can really speed up the organizing project.
